Presto Pasta Night Roundup #42

There seems to be a common theme this week....most of us are frantically trying to get ready for the holidays. This week we have lots of quick dishes to put together while rushing about to stay on top of things(you know the drill - shopping, baking, cooking, entertaining, packing for those family trips back home). We all need something easy to prepare while juggling all the other things we have to do, so dig in!

First in this week is Windy of Windy's Food Corner and her Quick Udon Soup is just in time to help my fingers thaw out!

Eliza of Notes from my Food Diary shows us just what a great mom she is. Imagine finding this colorful tasty Pasta Salad in your lunchbox!

Sara of I Like to Cook is pretending it's summer so she can make this great tomato pasta - Fusilli Caprese. I don't know about you, but I'm up for sharing her fantasy.

Chemcookit, An Italian in the US found a great way to dish up a quick and delicious pasta while doing all the rest of the elaborate cooking/baking for the season. I love this Veggies, Fruit, Tofu and Soba Stirfry.

First time PPNer Miri of Peppermill made an awesome dish of Spaghetti with Meatless Balls. I bet no one would guess if you didn't tell them.

Val at More than Burnt Toast is back with one of my favorite dishes...Chicken Piccata over Pasta that makes her think of summer. It just make me think..."give me some NOW!"

Katie at Thyme for Cooking took time from her busy rushing about to whip up this perfect dish of Farmhouse Pasta (I know it's perfect because I tried it last night! It's good to be the host of PPN. I get the sneak previews!)

Deborah of What's In My Kitchen? is back...two weeks in a row! Welcome to the world of PPN regulars. This time with a mouthwatering dish of Roasted Acorn Squash Pasta.

Desi of Mayhabay is a first time PPNer and shares another simple dish perfect for this rushy season...Creamy Pumpkin Penne with Bacon.

Gay, Scientist in the Kitchen is truly impressive this week. She made her own Italian Sausage to go with her Linguine. I'm speechless and in awe!

Michelle, the Greedy Gourmet shares a lovely Pasta with Broccoli, Pine Nuts and Mascarpone Cheese. Even her son (8 months old) loves it.

Tigerfish of Teczcape is back with a stunning dish of Pasta with Clam Sauce Asian Style. I do hope I can find some fermented soy beans here in Halifax.

Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy has the perfect solution to meal preparation during this crazy season...Crockpot Lasagna. The pot does all the work for you!

Sher of What Did You Eat? has another simple dish for busy times...Shrimp with Orzo, Capers & Currants and a song running through her head...check it out.

Haalo of Cook (Almost) Anything takes my breath away with this glorious dish of Ravioli with Cherry Tomatoes & Zucchini Flowers. How could anyone NOT relax a little with this one!

Judith of Think on It shares her perspective of comfort foods and gives us the Ultimate Beef Ragu - what's more comfort food than that!? And I love this photo of frozen ragu out in the plowed field because as she says "a good meat sauce is as basic as dirt".

And my dish is also one of those easy dish to throw together during this frenzied time of year. I call it Anything BUT Leftover Pasta. You'll have to read the post to understand.

Don't forget to join in the fun for next week and please visit the Presto Pasta Gang on Facebook.

As always...a very big thank you to all of you for playing along and visiting every week!!!

Thanks Ruth and I hope you will get at least one gift from your wish list. I think Nigella Express is a good choice as I enjoy her express cooking, a lot!
