What to do with the lovely Swiss Chard?

Last Saturday I bought a huge bag of crispy, young Swiss Chard leaves....gorgeous and I should have taken a picture, but...I was in too big a hurry to come up with a dish that I forgot until it was already soup!

I love being inspired by standing in front of the fridge, especially when planning on soup which is always perfect for those less than perfect but still perfectly good the leeks, for instance and the 3 or 4 little new potatoes - not enough for a meal but too good to dump. And what's that in the bin???...smoked chorizo sausages! Wow! Add a tin of tomatoes and some navy beans to the mix...

And in time for Kalyn's Weekend Herb Blogging too! Bonus! Astrid of Paulchens Food Blog is hosting and I can't wait to check out the roundup.
