If you live in Halifax, or planning a visit this weekend, then you have to check out this great foodie event....Pete's Frootique in downtown Halifax is celebrating Five Fabulous Years.If you're not from around here...think Whole Foods....high quality foods - a foodie's dream...I've mentioned it often...finding elusive garlic scapes, their other location (equally awesome) then try to figure out a way to get here on Sunday! Who know's we just might bump into each other.
There will be Jazz musicians providing entertainment, cooking demos (including one with one of my favorite local chefs...Craig Finn), spotlights on local suppliers and who know what other surprises are in store.
