Presto Pasta Night Roundup #66

Presto Pasta Night Week 66 is a truly special week for me. First of all I want to thank all of you who have contributed the more than 1200 pasta recipes since we started back in March, 2007. Without you and your dishes...well... a BIG thanks!

As you can see we have a new look, but that's not all. We also have a new home dedicated to Presto Pasta Nights. I hope you like it. There will obviously be an archive of all the awesome roundups, dating back to the beginning, but lots of other exciting stuff too. I'm not telling .... so you'll have to visit often to find out.

And, even more important...there are going to be fantastic guest hosts every other week! I really am excited about that. You can check who the next 4 guest hosts will be HERE. I'll be updating it regularly and I'll be letting everyone know right here on Once Upon a Feast as well.

So...let's get right to all of this week's pasta treasures...

First up this week, Lia of Swirling Notions shares a very springy Farfalle with Peas & Salmon, but you'll have to close your eyes to imagine what it looks like.

Marija of Palachinka is also thinking Spring with this glorious looking Pasta with Prosciutto & Cantaloupe.

Ivy of Kopiaste brings us a really Greek version of Pastitsio. I'm drooling.

Lauren of I'll Eat You has a really delicious Arugula, Lemon & Walnut Pesto to share.

Michelle of Greedy Gourmet has a perfect dish for my son-in-law...Pasta with Gorgonzola & Pine Nuts.

Kevin, Closet Cooking up a great dish as usual Smoked Salmon Pasta. It looks awesome and don't forget...Kevin is our very first guest host for Presto Pasta Nights next week. So be sure to email him your pastas at lynch.kevin AT gmail DOT com.

Gilli of So So Simple has a wonderful life, judging by her photos and her stories. She did share an actual photo of her Baked Mushroom Pasta, but I like this one even more. How is that for a setting for lunch or dinner?

Tracy of Vanilla Bean Cafe is very health conscious and her dish of Mediterranean Pesto Pasta shows just how tasty "healthy" can be.

Cara of Cara's Cravings shares this scrumptious (I'm drooling just thinking about it) Spicy Peanut Sauce Sweet Potato Pasta.

Tara of Should You Eat That? made some Quick & Delicious Gnocchi which does look wonderful.

Marye of Baking Delights made a tasty pasta with buffalo that she calls Italian Cowboy Pasta. Read her post to find the connection. It does sound perfect.

Kittie of Kittens in the Kitchen made this stunning, mouth-watering Hot Shrimp & Edamame Udon Soup.

Haalo of Cook (Almost) Anything made this awesome Prawn Dumpling Soup for her chilly weather. Although I'd like to believe our cold weather is over...I'll be keeping this recipe handy for those damp, rainy days here in Nova Scotia.

Katie of Thyme for Cooking always makes me laugh (except for the snake post...that still makes me cringe) and her Pasta Salad with Hot Goat Cheese sounds awesome.

Georgia of Oh Kitchen What Won't You Do? shares a favorite staple of mine...Pasta with Sausages and Peppers.

Ulrike of Kuchenlatein made some glorious looking homemade Ravioli with Basil Ricotta Filling. She used her new Tupperware ravioli maker. Don't they look lovely? Oh Oh...a new toy for me to add to my drawer.

Pam of Sidewalk Shoes really knows how to dish up a bowl of Spicy Shrimp & Bok Choy Noodles...great combination.

Gay, my favorite Scientist in the Kitchen shares a lovely looking dish of Smoked Prats and Linguine. I think prats are sardines...but I couldn't find a definition by asking "google"...so what are they exactly? I'd love to look for them here.

Sarah at Homemade whipped up this perfect Tuscan Rigatoni with White Beans.

Mochachocolata Rita made this truly fantastic looking dish of Javanese Wet Fried Rice Noodles - Bihun Goreng Jawa Nyemek. It's a keeper!

Sara, of I Like to Cook made a summery dish even though the weather is not in agreement. I can't wait to try some anyway...Pasta with Zucchini, Mint & Capers.

Avra of I've Got Food on My Brain couldn't find a pasta dish she liked on epicurious, so she resorted to her purple binder and came up with this tasty treat of Pasta with Raisins & Pine Nuts.

Somehow I keep NOT getting Bellini Valli's great dishes...Here's her awesome Healthy Herbed Creamy Fettuccine. Good thing she sent it again!

And finally, it's my turn...Chicken, Eggplant & Bok Choy Stir Fry (you just can't SEE the soba noodles)

Next week's guest host: Kevin, who does some terrific Closet Cooking. Please email your entries to him directly at lynch.kevin AT gmail DOT com

Great round up as always Ruth. Love the fact that Presto Pasta Nights has it own site now. You are just getting "too big for your britches". I did send an entry for this week but it may have gotten lost in cyberspace. I have just sumbitted it for next weeks lineup to Kevin. Also I ahve passed on a ward to you. I know you already have received this many times but well deserved:D

Great round up as usual Ruth! It looks like everyone was in a noodle turning mood last week.
