It has an espresso maker built in. So far it's only available in Europe, but what will they think of next?
Of course I got sucked into the other articles and came across this one
And naturally I had to see how many I actually have. I don't know if I should be proud or embarrassed. I have 11 out of 12 and that's only because I don't really see the need for the one missing one. Afterall, I do have a broom!
What about you?

Espresso makers are notoriously ticklish about mineral laden water, errors in pressing the coffee, and 100 other tiny things. I cannot imagine having my machine be a part of a many thousand euro fridge!
I have a lot of the 12 other items, but some are multipurpose because of the size of Italian kitchens and the lack of closets. (59 million people, three closets)
I have the Braun high wattage multi-purpose of which one part is a stick blender, so I don't have to have a stand mixer. And my digital thermometer lasted one year then croaked, so I am back to an analog instant.
My curmudgeonly view on knives is that they haven't made a really good one since they started making them all of stainless steel.
Judith, I thought I had a challenge with cupboard space!
The Braun stick blender and attachments is one of my favorite blenders too.
As for knives...my favorite ones are 30+ years old. They don't make anything like they used to. But I do love collecting gadgets. As for my digital thermometer...so far so good.
Thanks for sharing.
I do have broom, I cut my garlic and I don't kneed a food processor, I make my pastry dough with the KA, sorry only 9 out of 12 :-).
Huh, finally a gadget built into a fridge I could imagine myself using. I still don't get those fridges with TVs in them!
Frankly, I'm still old school... a fridge is a fridge, is a fridge. Only ice making and cold, filtered water would entice me.
Guess I'm not actually a cook, I only have 6 out of the 12!
Mind you I do have a triple-beam balance scale (instead of a digital one) does that count?
Ferdzy - of course you're a cook! I don't have a digital scale..my regular one is close enough for me. What is a triple beam balance scale. In my mind I see a bunch of gymnasts.
It's got a flat "scale" part that rests on one end of three little bars (the beams) that are marked with weights; you slide them along until it balances.
It's extremely precise to very small amounts; they guy who sold it to us second hand from some small scientific office made a point of nosing around a bit when he delivered it so he could be sure we weren't going to use it to sell drugs!
Ferdzy, glad you hear you were cleared for use of the scale in the kitchen. Made me smile just imagining him snooping.
