They don't make anything like they used to. But I do love collecting gadgets. As for my digital thermometer...so far so good.

Thanks for sharing.Ruth Danielshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11173472189049022779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12516077.post-40284315538983455292007-10-02T06:36:00.000-03:002007-10-02T06:36:00.000-03:00Espresso makers are notoriously ticklish about min...Espresso makers are notoriously ticklish about mineral laden water, errors in pressing the coffee, and 100 other tiny things. I cannot imagine having my machine be a part of a many thousand euro fridge!
I have a lot of the 12 other items, but some are multipurpose because of the size of Italian kitchens and the lack of closets. (59 million people, three closets)
I have the Braun high wattage multi-purpose of which one part is a stick blender, so I don't have to have a stand mixer. And my digital thermometer lasted one year then croaked, so I am back to an analog instant.
My curmudgeonly view on knives is that they haven't made a really good one since they started making them all of stainless steel.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
