Trees in Bloom & Herbs are too!

I confess, I use fresh herbs all year round. Even though the winters are long in Toronto (even longer in Halifax- from November to May),and even though the quality is less than stellar (after all they have to be shipped from somewhere much warmer than here) and, naturally - the cost is higher...what's a girl to do? So you can imagine how excited I am that I'm seeing potted herbs in markets and loads more herbs (that actually have a fragrance)on grocery shelves. Here in Halifax, it's still not quite up to Toronto quality, but it's getting better every day.

So here's my latest....

....and it's the favorite herb of Kalyn of Kalyn's Kitchen, creator of Weekend Herb Blogging (one of my favorite events). This week the event is being hosted by Astrid over at Paulchens Foodblog. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

I think I'll never fall in love with cilantro. But that looks good. I bet on tarragon this week

BTW, did you get my PPN-entry by mail?
