Last Grilled Salmon for a While

Don't worry...there are still plenty of salmon out there for the rest of you, it's just that my daughter has decided that she's had enough salmon for a while (I personally can't imagine that happening to me - ever). It's not that she doesn't like it...it's just...well...she's had enough - same with asparagus (my most favorite vegetable). I guess I just reached her saturation point, cooking them a million ways since she got back from Chile. The truth is, I could probably eat variations at least a couple of times a week.

Now I'll have to find a new omega-3 rich fleshy fish with no bones (for my Honey) that doesn't cost a fortune...I'd love to hear your ideas.

This dish is so full of fresh herbs, it's perfect for Weekend Herb Blogging, hosted this week by Kalyn herself (masterful creator of the event all those weeks ago).

I think that salmon looks just delicious. I'm with you on this, I don't know if I could ever get tired of it. Now to see the recipe to find out just how you did it.

I guess my favorite omega3 rich fish is tuna, but it's definitely not very budget friendly here.

Like the new photo of you! I'm looking forward to meeting you in Chicago too!

I'm with you on the salmon... Unfortunately, mon mari is with your Honey about the bones. So, when you find reasonable, boneless fish suitable for grilling... please let me know?
In the meantime, I'll be fixing salmon - on the grill - with herbs

Hey, I never said YOU couldn't eat salmon. Eat fish and let eat fish, as they say. Or do they?

Kalyn, thanks and as for tuna...it's a treat around here too. Glad you like the new photo, my Princess, Sharron took it. Counting the days to Chicago & Blogher!

Katiez, I'll keep you posted

Sharron - not a difficult daughter at all. We'll explore new fish options together.

This recipe looks wonderful - I just got back from Whole Foods with a lovely salmon fillet and all the ingredients to make it. In reading the recipe I noticed that you said "remove the salmon from the pan leaving the skin behind. Do you put this in a pan on your grill?

Thanks,

Trish in Omaha

OOPS! Trish, thanks for catching that boo--boo. The salmon is placed directly on the grill - NO pan!

Thanks for dropping by

More for you, Ruth, and less for your daughter then..hehe :) I can't do without salmon either, but I only love them raw, in sashimis. I gotta learn to grill salmon like you *kudos* :)
