Growing up, my daughters favorite pasta in the world was Kraft Dinner - not MY Mac & Cheese - only Mr Kraft's would do. In fact, one year, when they were teenagers and I suggested that they make dinner, they decided to play a little joke and add some blue food coloring....think St. Patrick's Day and you can guess what their lovely invention looked like. So I guess it's not surprising that yesterday's grocery list had an additional item on it. Remember that Sharron has been away in Chile for almost a year and a half and, I guess bunking in with us brought out the kid in her. So I guess supper tonight will bring us both back to childhood days....I won't share when mine were, but her's were late '70s & '80s.
Don't forget to share your fabulous pasta dishes for this week's Presto Pasta Night. It can be as simple as your favorite store bought dish, a great dinner out or your own spectacular invention. I'll be posting the roundup here on Friday, so don't forget to join the fun. Remember that ALL noodles dishes count as pasta for this fun event. Find out how to participate here.
In the meantime....Happy Pasta Eating!!!

Ah, good old KD...when I was a teenager every Friday night we'd all go to someone's house for dinner and it was almost always KD or as we called it - Splat. I have NO idea why we called it that, but I'm sure we thought we were cool!
