Presto Pasta Night Roundup #50!

Presto Pasta Night is 50 weeks old!!! Amazing and it wouldn't be possible without all your fantastic dishes. This week they started arriving on Friday, just a little late for last week’s roundup but raring to go! And, in case you haven't realized...in only 2 more weeks PPN turns one year old...WOW!

First in was Terry at Got No Milk with this fantastic Tuna Nicoise Pasta. I can see myself floating in the Mediterranean Sea looking up at all those red clay tiled roofs on the hillside...sigh....

Gilli of So So Simple Food is back after a long vacation...and she didn't invite us! Too bad, too, it looks like she had lots of fun! But she did share these lovely photos and a fab dish of Spaghetti with Cockles. I love it.

Windy, at Windy's Food Corner shares a great version of Mushroom & Leek Cappelletti. I love every variation of this great dish.

Katie at Thyme for Cooking is back with a hysterical story and a great Chinese dish to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Oriental Orzo with Salmon.

Lisa of Lisa's Kitchen shares a glorious Romano Bean & Vegetable Soup with lovley loopy pasta.

Ani, the FoodieChickie sent along this great rendition of Tagliatelle with Smashed Peas, Sausages and Ricotta...yum!

Marija of Palachonka brings us a Serbian treat that sounds fantastic...Buckwheat Pasta with Almond Pasta and Tobacco Cracklings (you'll have to read to find out exactly what that is...surprise!)

KC of Kitschow presented this fab Shrimp & Noodle Soup as "leftovers"...how come my leftovers never look so good!?!

Chris of Mele Cotte shares a great Mediterranean Pasta Salad and an even better story about a unique high school...not sure which I like more.

Gay, Scientist in the Kitchen has a lovely looking Linguine with Salmon to share.

Haalo over at Cook Almost Anything shares a superb Angel Hair Pasta with Scallops and Tarragon Parsley Pesto. All I can say is....slurp!!!

And my dish...headaches kept me from doing too much cooking this week, but this Tunisian Chickpea, Eggplant & Mushroom Stew over Spinach Couscous saved the day.

Don't forget to join in the fun for next week and please visit the Presto Pasta Gang on Facebook.

As always...a very big thank you to all of you for playing along and visiting every week!!! Every dish is superb!

These all look terrific. I love the idea of almond pesto (though I think I'll pass on the "tobacco" cracklings!!), and the mushroom/leek cappelletti also appeal. Great roundup!

Kitchenetta, thanks for sharing with the rest of the PPN gang. Hope to see you here for the big celebration.

Ricki, they do look terrific and the "tobacco" cracklings had me stumped until I really read the post.

Chris, thanks...couldn't do it without you ;-)

Hope to see you all back for the big one year celebration (if not before!)

Happy big Five Zero PPN :)

Another lot of lovely entries - looking forward to trying! (Boyfriend already asking for the Oriental Orzo for dinner tonight... It's only 10am here!)

And time to get my thinking head on for the Birthday!

Ruth, I sent you over an entry a couple of days ago - did you get it?

Did you know that tobacco and tobacco smoke is a flavor that is turning up in a lot of high end restaurants. It's very weird.

I'll be writing about it my next TOpline Trends newsletter if anyone wants to learn more about this fad. The newsletter goes live on March 1 but you can sign up to be notified when it is live so you don't have to remember the date. Sign up is located here: http://www.danamccauley.com/Newsletter.html if you scrowl down to the bottom you'll find the form.
