2008 is starting off stellar, if Presto Pasta Nights is any indication. Just check out all these delicious dishes including some very creative "outside the box" recipes.
Katiez of Thyme for Cooking is in with a great dish - Orzo Pizza - really! And, even better, a "happy meme" we should all do everyday for 2008 and beyond.
Maude at Baking Delights shares this lip smacking Chicken & Mushroom Sausage Fiori Alfredo. I wonder if I can find a way to make this South Beach friendly...hmmmm.
Psychgrad of Equal Opportunity Kitchen brings in 2008 with some Thai Peanut Chicken & Noodles that has me drooling.
Kitchenetta of Got No Milk brings a non dairy delight to the table - Rigatoni with Sausage & Broccoli Rabe. What's to say beyond "Dig In Everyone!"
Audrey of Cook & Relax has it right with this dish of Tagliatelle with Smoked Salmon & Prawns. Quick, easy and delish - perfect!
Deborah of What's In My Kitchen shares a great Salmon Pasta dish. Her only other use for a can of salmon (first being salmon patties - I couldn't agree more).
Kittie of Kittens in the Kitchen is a brand new food blogger and if this post is any indication...I'll be visiting often. She really knows the way to my heart....GARLIC!..like this home-made roasted garlic pasta and Garlic Ragu. Drool!
Julie of The Persnickety Palate shares this outside the box dish of Potstickers and before you say "that's not pasta!" read the post!
Glenna of A Fridge Full of Food is starting the year with a return to vegetarian and this Split Pea Soup with Alphabet Noodles is an excellent choice.
Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy has another Fried Ravioli dish. Who'd have imagined two versions of "potstickers" in one week!
Mike of Mel's Diner is back with a new look to his blog - lovely and a gorgeous looking Roasted Red Pepper Gnocchi.
Sher of What Did You Eat? is back with Spaghetti with Turkey Meatballs and I think I can even eat them without pasta they look so tasty.
Anna of Morsels & Musings starts the year off with this terrific dish of Moghrabieh (Middle Eastern Couscous). What are my chances of finding those gorgeous chili threads here in Halifax?
Lalaine of The CookMobile shares this tempting Pasta with Smoked Salmon & Creme Fraiche.
Gay, A Scientist in the Kitchen made a great looking Tuna Casserole...much better than the ones my mom used to make when I was growing up...sorry Mom!
Michelle of Cooking the Books is brand new to food blogging events and I'm so glad she chose this one for her first. The Black Sesame Noodles and Sauce sound great. So what's up for next week, Michelle?
And my dish, (think - shoe makers children with no shoes) because we’re doing South Beach Diet, Phase One for a couple of weeks means no cooking of pasta for me for another week. I did fall off the wagon and here’s the bad photo of a great little Kobe Beef Ravioli I ate at Gio – a very special Halifax restaurant. The photo does not do it justice.
Don't forget to join in the fun for next week and please visit the Presto Pasta Gang on Facebook.
As always...a very big thank you to all of you for playing along and visiting every week!!! I know 2008’s Presto Pasta meals will be amazing.

Nice roundup this week!
I glommed right in on those words "easy and delicious" which is what it's meant to be.
Judith in Umbria
