Presto Pasta Night #29

Another great week of roundups. The dishes started coming in last Saturday night. I, on the other hand don't have one of my own to show off. I did whip up some gemilli (those cute little tightly curled noodles) with goat cheese, cream, Parmesano-Regiano and pepper during my whirlwind week, but never took a picture...oh well, everyone else did a great job.

First up this week... Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy couldn't wait to share these gorgeous Cold Sesame Noodles...and for Mary...no cheese here!

Next in (also on Saturday night) Amy of The Life of a Newlywed, after much lurking, decided to join in the PPN fun with this awesome Cheesy Baked Tortellini. Hope to see you and your dishes here often.

Mary, the wonderful Breadchick of The Sour Dough has been too busy of late to send us her fab meals, but that's changed and she's back with a delicious Presto Sausage Pasta. One of my favorites!

Kevin the Closet Cooking fiend always has great dishes for us and this time is no different. He has my all time favorite ...Basil Pesto.

Chrissy of Chronicles of a Fledgling Home Cook hasn't been around for a while. Actually, hard as it is to believe, she hasn't had pasta for a while either. Finally she did and shares this great Chicken Sausage, Caramelized Onion & Sage Pasta.

Sharon Arduino has no blog but does share cool recipes. I love the name of this dish...Straw Hay Pasta.

Tigerfish of Teczcape showed up early this week with so many options, I could swoon. The star was Bak Chor Mee with Fish Balls - or Minced Pork Linguine. Yum, Yum, Yum and the photos - take my breath away.

Katie of Thyme for Cooking has lots of dogs visiting, did her 300th post - congratulations and had time to share this lovely Pasta with Grilled Chicken Tapenade.

Katerina of Daily Unadventures in Cooking - such a misnomer because this week she shares a very adventurous and awesome Pasta with Chorizo & Leeks in a Butternut Squash Sauce. Wow!

First time PPNer - Food Hunter's Guide to Cuisine shares a really tasty dish of Braised Pork Ribs with Rigatoni. Who'd have thought to mix two of my favorite meals...ribs and pasta!?! I'm drooling as I write. Please come back often with more goodies!

Judith of Think On It is back with a really awesome dish of Papardelle with Duck. I've never made duck before...now there's really no excuse. Fantastic!

Ulrike of Kuchenlatein is back with a dish of Spaghetti with Fava Bean Sauce & Pear Puree. Apparently it's very traditional in Schleswig-Holstein, very untraditional here in Canada so I'm glad she shared it with us.

Another newcomer is from Margot of Coffee & Vanilla and the dish...a wonderful Mushroom & Sweet Pepper Tagliatelle. How wonderful sounding is that?.

Vi of East Meets West Kitchen is also new to PPN. She was worried her dish wasn't good enough. HAH! The Radiatore with Pine Nuts & Sun-dried Tomatoes is awesome! So I do hope you plan on sharing more dishes with us.

Mari of Mevrouw Cupcakes joins us as well. She shares a beautiful Autumn Roasted Veggie Pasta. I'm not too happy to see Summer go, but a bowl of her pasta reminds me of what I love about the Fall.

Joe of Desert Culinaryfinally joins in Presto Pasta Nights. I've always enjoyed visiting his site for great low cal dishes. This one - Whole Wheat Pasta Arrabiata with Arugula is a great first PPN entry - hint, hint!

Sara of I Like to Cook showed up with this dish of Myzithra Cheese Pasta to remind her of the Old Spaghetti Factory version she loves. Good thing she shared this because there is no Old Spaghetti Factory here in Halifax.

Haalo of Cook (Almost) Anything shares the definitive Lasagna and the magical Sunday mornings with her mother to get it just right.

Caroline shares her Consuming Passion with the rest of us. This is her second visit to PPN and she shares a glorious looking Mee Goreng Tauceo. I can't wait to dig in!

Mike from Mel's Diner is back with a fantastic dish...Greek Avgolemono with Pasta. The lemon says summer's not gone yet. The warmth says..Fall's okay too.

Sher of What Did You Eat? had a crazy week (who hasn't!) and put together this tasty dish of Gemelli with Garbanzo Beans. Tasty, cute and quick...what could be better.

Dayna, my favorite Vegan Visitor shares this fantastic Sweet Potato Ravioli. I can't wait to make some with my daughter.

First time PPNer Joelen of Joelen's Culinary Adventures reminds us that pasta is also fabulous as a side dish. Her Orzo Pesto looks great with that chicken.

Zlamushka of Zlamushka's Spicy Kitchen is another first timer here. She takes a very simple Aglio olio and makes it special with pickled jalapenos. Now that's taking simple to a whole new level.

I love Deborah the Humble Housewife. This time she shares her "oh crap I have nothing for dinner" delicious looking Pasta with Chicken, Tomato & Mozzarella.

And my pasta post...oops... Nothing much to write about for this week so I thought I'd share the first pasta recipe I posted back in 2005....it's my Ultimate Mac & Cheese and I'm still making it.

I shut down early yesterday to get ready for the Rosh Hashona feast here so there are a couple of additions. Ferdzy of Seasonal Ontario Foods showed up with this yummy dish of BLT Pasta Salad. It fools me into thinking summer and picnics are here for a long while.

Julie the Persnickety Palate shares her ultimate comfort food - Noil's Noodles. Head over there to find out why. It does sound delicious.

Don't forget to join in the fun for next week and please visit the Presto Pasta Gang on Facebook.

As always...a very big thank you to all of you for playing along and visiting every week!!!
