Presto Pasta Night Roundup #216

It's time for another delicious Presto Pasta Night Roundup and this week there are lots of my personal favorite ingredients... shrimp & seafood, comfort dishes and lots of great vegetarian dishes and... well, check them out for yourself. Thanks everyone for your great contributions.

Gilli of So So Simple Food is back for the second week in a row after a long hiatus of pasta sharing... I do hope the streak continues. Check out this lovely dish of Golden Noodle Cakes with Prawns & Bok Choy
Val at More Than Burnt Toast is back as well with... yet again my favorite ingredient... shrimps! Her Garlic Shrimp Florentine with Tomatoes & Garlic Breadcrumbs has me drooling.
And yet another shrimp dish... it must be my birthday or something! This time Gay, Scientist in the Kitchen made a very tempting Linguine with Shrimp from a new cookbook I'll have to be checking out.
Tandy of Lavender & Lime had a terrible weekend last weekend. Thank goodness for a visit from mom and a bowl of Rich Tomato Pasta for comfort food. I do hope this weekend is an improvement.
Tina, over at Life in the Slow Lane at Squirrel Manor feasts us with fantasy and a delicious dish of Pasta & Zucchini, Sun-dried Tomatoes & Garlic. I'm drooling over the dish and the photo of Marcello... I told you she shared some fantasy!
Anu at Truth Personified shared a great Soba Noodles in Thai Sauce and an awesome place for a picnic just 12 miles from where she lives. Lucky her! Graziana of Erbe in Cucina always shares interesting herbs with us. This time it's caliceddi for her Baked Pasta. Don't know what caliceddi is... check it out on her post. Joanne, who Eats Well With Others often graces the PPN table. I love her writing (she always makes me laugh), I love her photography (she makes me drool even before reading the recipe) and I love her dishes. This time she made her first attempt at cooking baby artichokes for Pasta with Lemon, Baby Artichoke, & Asparagus. Not sure what the problem was. It looks delicious. But if you have any suggestions for her (and the rest of us who have never cooked baby artichokes before) leave a note in the comment section. Joanne also writes on Chef Marcus Samuelsson's blog and this week made a stunning Springtime Lasagna with Leeks & Asparagus that I had to share. Candice, the Gorgeous Gourmet and first time PPNer, shares her version of perfect comfort food... Mac 'n Cheese with Bacon & Leeks. It could easily be mine too. Jessica of Kitchenbelleicious turned mac 'n cheese up even another notch with this spectacular Spicy Crab Mac 'n Cheese. What can I say! MangoCheeks of Allotment2Kitchen is back with a glorious Aubergine Tomato Relish Pasta that would ... can I even say it here?... great without the pasta! Tigerfish of Teczcape is back with a heavenly dish she lovingly called Pasta Aglio e Olio with Steamed Drunken Clams. Love the name, love the look and I know I'm going to love the taste. And hard as it is to believe... I never got around to making pasta this week. Not to worry, I'm sure I'll come up with something wonderful for next week. Good thing my Pasta Night get togethers involve others bringing food to the table!

Next week, Kirsten of From Kirsten's Kitchen to Yours will be hosting for the fourth time! Send your entries to kirstenmlindquist(at) gmail (dot)com cc ruth (at) 4everykitchen (dot) com by Thursday, June 9.
