We've started our long weekend early (I think today is the only sunny day forecasted for the weekend) and it is quite sunny here in the Annapolis Valley. Lunch in Wolfville on the terrace of Rosie's was very tasty mussels (what you see is only half the bowlful) and a big plate of sweet potato fries served with pineapple curry mayo, peeking out behind it.
We're staying at The Evangeline Inn in Grand Pre and what you see from our doorway is fertile cornfields big enough to hide the wonderful Domaine de Grand Pre Winery and restaurant.
