I told you I'd be making a simply special and especially easy pasta dish from my new Barefoot Contessa cookbook - Back to Basics for Presto Pasta Nights. And if this recipe is any indication, I'm going to love every single dish in the book! The subtitle says it all really..."Fabulous Flavor from Simple Ingredients". I couldn't agree more...in fact, my first lesson to anyone who will listen...use the best ingredients you can find and let them shine.
Pasta with Pecorino & Pepper has very few ingredients and takes just a couple of minutes longer than it takes to actually boil the pasta, but you will be dreaming about the flavors for much longer.

Oh Ruth, it looks delicious! I will post mine today :)
I LOVE that pasta. I might do that this evening, since I don't have anything specific planned and wanted to do a simple pasta. Yum.
Melissa(s) thanks. I do love it when there's very little "concocting" to do.
I just got that book in that mail. I've all ready bookmarked this one to try!
Pam, don't forget to bookmark the parmesan thyme crackers (delicious savory cookies) and the Italian Wedding Soup....fantastic!
