Presto Pasta Night Roundup #64
First up this week, is Fruittart, a whimsical name and a picture perfect pasta....She calls it Colorful Cruciferous Veggie Pasta and it certainly is.
Katie, of Thyme for Cooking has another lovely alliteration - Pesto Pasta Salad, that dances on my tongue and right into my tummy.
Johanna, the Green Gourmet Giraffe has more poetry with this story of her Pumpkin, Tomato & Spinach Pasta. Read and drool.
Marye of Baking Delights takes three of my favorite ingredients and turns them into a heavenly Eggplant, Mushroom & Artichoke Lasagna.
RuthE from Ruth's Kitchen Experiments shares a great Breakfast Fry-up Pasta that's delicious morning, noon or night.
Corinne of A Gourmet Love Affair shares her butter-making experience and a fantastic dish of Butter Beans & Noodles in Tarragon Lemon Cream Sauce. Wow!
Kitchenetta of Got No Milk is back with a fantastic Pasta Frittata that visually reminds me of my mother and grandmother's version of kugel...theirs was sweet though, no capers or olives (in fact the dark things would be raisins). I often use leftover pasta for breakfast in a frittata...this one is worth making from scratch.
FoodieTots shares a speedy and sublime looking Green Garlic Pesto Pasta. Every Tuesday is pasta night at her place...Hope she shares more with us soon.
Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy has some crazy hot weather where she is...I guess I'll stop complaining about cold and damp here...Anyway, she made a Mario Batali version of Pasta Puttanesca that sounds perfect for any weather.
Ricki of Diet, Dessert & Dogs shares a hysterical story of lasagna making and a fantastic looking Kale & Potato Lasagna to munch on too.
Closet Cooking Kevin is back with the most gorgeous green post...surely a reminder that Spring is definitely here. Check out the Penne with Fresh Pea & Mint Pesto.
Sharona May of Bird Food shares one of my favorite baked pastas...Shells Stuffed with Sausage & Cheese. YUM!
At Mike's Table, he prepared a great Beef Bourguignon over Pasta a la Julia Child way back when it was cold and just got around to posting...Good thing for me, since it's perfect weather for it here in Halifax.
Becke, the Columbus Foodie, loves her local market and seasonal foods and shares this great looking Fettucine with Morels, Asparagus & Goat Cheese. Sounds divine. Our Spring is just starting so I'll have some time to prepare.
Ben at What's Cooking came up with his "Mac 'n Cheese on Steriods" and all I can say is WOW and check it out.
Sarah of What Smells So Yummy? came up with the usual..."OH NO...it's late and what's for dinner"syndrome. Look at this fantastic dish from fridge & pantry...Pasta with Black Beans & Nappa Cabbage.
Sher of What Did You Eat? also takes me back to my childhood with Alphabet Soup that looks way better than canned.
And finally, it's my turn...twice, actually. First was a Veal Stew over Garlicky Noodles
And something a little lighter, probably more healthful and equally delicious...
Multigrain Pasta with Mushrooms, Baby Beet Greens & Herbs.
