Presto Pasta Night #56

It's another great week with lots of interesting dishes to feed you for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And it's a perfect birthday present for me (today IS my birthday!), especially all the ones that say "Spring is here!". I've had enough snow and winter, thank you very much. So let's just get to the good stuff....

Lia of Swirling Notions just missed the deadline for last week, so here's her scrumptious Pasta Aioli. No photo, but you know it's awesome.

Chris at We Heart Food has a fantastic Kitchen-Sink Minestrone. So much goodness in one bowl!

Tara of Should you Eat That? has had a rough few months, but she's back and shares a very comforting classic Fettuccine Carbonara. Here's to a much brighter year ahead!

Georgia at Kitchen, What Do You Do? really knows it's Spring. Just look at this Simple Spring Pasta with lovely asparagus and mushrooms. Can't you hear the birdies chirping?

Ricki at Diet, Dessert & Dogs has a hysterical post and a great dish of Spiced Carrot Gnocchi in a Creamy Sauce. Check it out.

Tigerfish of Teczcape always gives us beautiful and tasty dishes and this time is no exception. Check out this Fried-Braised Noodles with With Pepper Sauce.

Katie of Thyme for Cooking has another fun story to share and a delicious dish...great combo so check out her Chicken & Spinach Pasta post.

First time PPNer Stacy the Vicarious Foodie doesn't want winter to end...But I won't hold that against her since she's sharing this fantastic looking Baked Penne with Roasted Vegetables.

Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy hasn't been around for three weeks (but who's counting now that she's back - lucky us!) This time it's Chicken Chow Mein on the table.

Kitchenetta at Got No Milk came up with the supreme of Chicken Noodle Soups...there are no words!

Psychgrad of Equal Opportunities Kitchen shares a huge dish of Farfalle with Artichokes and Sausages - my perfect comfort dish!

SherryTrifle has the perfect mix of Creamy Goat Cheese and Cherry Tomatoes with her pasta this week.

Haalo of Cook (Almost) Anything never fails to share a stunning photo and great dish. This time it's Fregola with Roasted Vegetable & Prawns.

Anna of Morsels & Musings made a wonderful soup for us this week and she even made her own spice blend to boot. Check out the Sharba Libiya and Hararat.

And Rita of Mochachocolata is back with a fabulous Sausage Noodle Omelette. She made hers for supper, I think I'll do mine for brunch. What about you?

Chris of Mele Cotte shares a beautiful (I love those ribbon farfalle)and classy(anything with hazelnuts, says sophisticated, don't ask me why)dish of Hazelnut Farfalline.

Holler of Tinned Tomatoes shares her first dish for 2008 and none too soon. I desperately need a hit of Spring! It's snowing again so this dish of Pesto & Peas over Spring Onion Tagliatelle is the perfect medicine.

It's finally my turn to share, this dish of Pasta with No Cook Zesty Mushroom Sauce changed into something else the next day.

And Sher of What Did You Eat? sneaks in under the wire with another stress relieving Springtime dish of Vermicelli with Butter, Parmesan & Asparagus. I'm calmer just looking at it.

Don't forget to join in the Presto Pasta Night experience and please visit the Presto Pasta Gang on Facebook.

And, of course, a very big thank you to all of you for playing along and visiting every week!!! I can always count on you to make it special.

Ruth, I was showing my husband some of your previous roundup posts and he was in shock at the huge number of ways to serve pasta. He truly couldn't get over it and just kept looking and looking, getting hungrier and hungrier :) Then he asked "How come you never make me pasta?" There is no real reason, I just don't think about it often - until now, your roundups definitely have me thinking about it! I promised him a pasta dish this coming Friday night and will happily submit it to you for a future roundup.

Happy Belated Birthday!!!!!
I seem to be sliding further and further behind these days... part of it is stopping whatever indoor project and running outside to garden whenver the suns peeks out...which is not often.
Great round-up! So Happy to see signs of spring!

Hmmm... I've spied "Presto Pasta" nights on other blogs. You're THE presto pasta gal! I'm going to have to join in on this feast at some point soon. We make pasta at least once a week and have plenty of recipes. I definitely want to play!
