My Holiday Wish List

It's the holidays and whether you celebrate Christmas or not, it's that time of year when people get together. I've noticed many blog posts and magazine articles are sharing some gift ideas. And let's face it...gift giving is at its peak this time of year.

I was going to share some of my own ideas and I will in another post, but this one's about me and what I would like to receive (beyond World Peace, clean air and food for everyone). So for anyone who cares....My Wish List

Cookbooks (because I could never have enough):
Nigella Express (because she's awesome)

Arabesqueby Claudia Roden (because I've been wanting this one forever)

Spice(just because it sounds fantastic)

Kitchen Toys:
KitchenAid Pasta Making Attachmentsfor my KitchenAid Stand Mixer (why should Joanna have all the fun)

Oh, and the Ravioli Makeris separate, naturally!

Large Mortar & Pestle because somehow mine never made the trip from Toronto.

12 Quart Stock Pot so I can finally boil the lobsters I've been craving since we moved here.

The list goes on and on, but I'll stop here for now. What's on your wish list? Please share them in the comments.

Good to know, Mum. Another great gift idea is Every Kitchen Tells its Stories by Ruth Daniels, a veritable genius in the kitchen. Christmas is the time for shameless plugs from loved ones, isn't it?

i definitely have my eye on the KitchenAid stand mixer and far more attachments than one could reasonably afford. here's hoping for fresh pasta and ice cream!
