Presto Pasta Night Roundup #36

I must say, I was getting a little worried by Wednesday, which I know was Hallowe'en for many, but there weren't as many delicious pasta dishes as usual. Winter in the Northern Hemisphere is fast approaching and perfect weather for slow cooked, baked pastas and quick but hearty versions to help us manage the cold. So all you wonderful lurkers out there...send us your favorite pasta dishes and if you don't have a blog of your own...send me the recipe (ruthAT4everykitchenDOTcom) and I'll post it for you. Afterall, we can never have too many pasta options at our fingertips. But enough nagging....let's enjoy the great dishes that did make it to this week's roundup....

First in this week... Katie over at Thyme for Cooking, although technology wasn't helping her do that, shares a gorgeous looking Pasta with Beans & Ham. Hopefully, the eating calmed her down.

Then Abby of Eat the Right Stuff arrived with this Lemony Chicken and Peppadew Pasta. It even sounds delightful.

Judith of Think on It has been very busy and we have missed her, but she's finally dragged out her pasta pot and shares this awesome dish of Carciofi (that's artichokes) and she even gives a step by step with pictures as to how to prepare them. Now I don't have to look longingly and pass them by in the market!

Mike at Mel's Diner is back with a great dish of Mushroom Stuffed Shells. Not bad at all for a guy who says he doesn't like them.

Haalo of Cook (Almost) Anything has some mouth-watering Potato Tortelli with Artisan Sausage & Tomato Sauce. I think we all have to go visit her!

Michelle, the Greedy Gourmet, joins PPN for the first time with a very tasty Chicken & Leek Pasta with a Creamy Cider Sauce. I love how the name just dances on your tongue. I'm sure the dish will too.

Dana of Dana's Top Ten Table shares a very simple and simply perfect dish of Spaghetti with Capers. I love a nurturing dish that only takes 15 minutes! Don't you?

Kevin, Closet Cooking and frequent PPNer has a great Pumpkin & Cream Cheese Ravioli dish. It's a terrific example of using what's on hand to make a lovely version of a classic.

Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy had a very harried day - Hallowe'en, sick kid...but she still had time to come up with a very tasty supper - Sausages & Mozzarella Pasta. There's nothing like pasta to be quick AND nourishing. Hope Liam gets better soon.

Marta, An Italian in the US, another great PPNer has a fantastic looking pasta if you like Brussels Sprouts as much as I do.

Anna of Morsels and Musings shares a very spicy Korean dish of Bibim Guksu. I know Joanna & Ezra will be particularly pleased with this one!

As for me, well I did make a quick shrimp and funky leaf shaped pasta but was too rushed to actually take pictures. The real focus was a poll of sorts...about kids and pasta. I'd love to hear your favorite kid friendly pasta dish. For Boaz, fettucine is best eaten after being waved around quite a bit and sacchettini are best thrown across the room and not eaten at all.

Don't forget to join in the fun for next week and please visit the Presto Pasta Gang on Facebook.

As always...a very big thank you to all of you for playing along and visiting every week!!!
