Presto Pasta Night Roundup 17

This week's Presto Pasta Night Roundup has lots of regulars and lots of newcomers...2 dishes with squid ink pasta...very exotic and all the dishes are fabulous. So without more rambling from me...

Marta, An Italian in the US is first in this week with a whole pasta making party! Awesome is an understatement. Three types of pasta, three kinds of sauce.

Dad, Baker & Chef is new to Presto Pasta Nights and hopefully will return often. Just look at this Spicy Aglio Olio he made for Father's Day.

Katie of Thyme for Cooking, a fabulous PPN regular is back with this delicious Cabrese Pasta Salad with Salami. You really have to read about her friend's garden.

Brilynn of Jumbo Empanadas has beeen meaning to join in the PPN fun for a while, but she was waiting to contribute something special....all I can say is WOW!!! She certainly outdid herself with this Dark & Mysterious Lobster with Black Squid Ink Pasta.

Newcomer DJM of Isolated Food shares this very pretty dish of Cheese Tortellini and Asparagus. What a wonderful combination - so rich and creamy.

Kevin of Closet Cooking is back with a great rendition of Arrabiata. This time on an interesting pasta - Calabresi and in case that's not inventive enough, he adds a splash of Balsamic Vinegar to the sauce.

Ulrike of Kuchenlatein is having a crazy week herself, but she did whip up this glorious pasta of courgette (Zucchini to us North Americans), basil and almond paste.

Judith of Think On It is back with more cooking lessons. This time around...more nettle ravioli, and a lesson on involving kids.

Amanda of Little Foodie joins us with the perfect remedy for a Mid-Week Pasta. There is nothing easier and tastier than leftover chicken - or anything else for that matter.. Doesn't this creation look great.

Myriam of Once Upon a Tart, one of my favorite bloggers shares this perfectly luscious dish of Creamy Farfalle with Smoked Salmon. What more can I say, except...pass me a spoon!

Dayna, the amazing Vegan Visitor is back with this delightful Asian Noodle Salad. It's definitely on my "must make this summer" list of great pastas.

Christine from Chronicles of a Fledgling Cook is back with a lovely Chicken Arrabiata that took just 15 minutes and looks like a million bucks.

Joey of 80 Breakfasts is back with this gorgeous Orecchiette with Pesto & Peas - "a symphony of green" and ain't that the truth!

Newcomer CTL of Feeding the Boys shares this stunning Squid Ink Pasta with Shrimp & Tomatoes. Doesn't it look wonderful?

Katerina of Daily Unadventures is back with this mouth-watering Rigatoni with Leeks and Cannelini Beans.

Haalo of Cook (Almost) Anything is back with this unbelieveably gorgeous Gnocchi Alla Romana. Just check out this photo and tell me it doesn't get you drooling.

Sher of What Did You Eat is back too. This time with another easy to fix (and luscious) Gemellini with Tuna & Pine Nuts.

First time PPNer TriniGourmet shares this simple (but not ordinary in the least) Baked Ziti with Cauliflower. Hope to see you back here often.

Deborah the Humble Housewife is back with an old family favorite of her husband...Sour Cream Noodle Bake. Don't let the ingredients deceive you...her family gobbled it up!

And finally, my own feeble attempt...my excuse this time...really bad headache, no time to grocery shop, cupboard is bare like Old Mother Hubbard. Still, it tasted good and I got to try out a new type of pasta (at least to me)...Kamut & Quinoa Gemelli with Spinach.

Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy is a little late this week. She bought a house! Congrats! So she had to be inventive (no time to grocery shop either) and made this lovely Cilantro Pesto.

I will continue to add submissions until Saturday . After that, I will add them to next week's PPN Event. So don't forget to join in with the rest of us Presto Pasta Nighters. It's easy and fun. Remember that ALL noodles dishes count as pasta and "presto" (ready) or "lento" (slow) are perfect. Find out how right here. In the meantime...Happy Pasta Eating!!!
