Pesto Pasta with Roasted Asparagus & Mushrooms

The Community meal for Fife House this month is pasta, salad and garlic bread and some cupcakes and cookies for dessert. Pasta choices included a tasty meat sauce with meat balls and a vegetarian tomato based sauce that really looked like meat sauce (I don't know what the secret ingredient was, but it was delicious). My contribution was pesto with roasted asparagus and mushrooms tossed with penne.

Recipe

I love this dish - yet another great way to cook with pesto.

Thanks Ivonne - I love yours too - and what a great name Cream Puffs in Venice. Just saying it transports me there.
