The Community meal for Fife House this month is pasta, salad and garlic bread and some cupcakes and cookies for dessert. Pasta choices included a tasty meat sauce with meat balls and a vegetarian tomato based sauce that really looked like meat sauce (I don't know what the secret ingredient was, but it was delicious). My contribution was
pesto with roasted asparagus and mushrooms tossed with penne.

I love your blog by the way!
Thanks Ivonne - I love yours too - and what a great name Cream Puffs in Venice. Just saying it transports me there.
Thanks for dropping by.

hi ruth, the combination of flavours sounds utterly perfect - i'm sure everyone who had the good fortune of getting a taste came back for seconds!
