Tuna & Avocado Salad on Mixed Greens

Tuna & Avocado Salad on Mixed Greens

Hands on time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 6 oz/170 g can solid white tuna, chunked and drained

½ large ripe avocado, mashed

Dash of Worcestershire sauce

Juice of ½ lime

Salt & pepper to taste

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro/coriander

Mixed salad greens
Spritz of lime juice
Dash of olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Mix well and taste for seasoning.
2. On a plate, spread a handful of mixed salad greens (you can add some fresh cilantro here too). Drizzle with a little lime juice, olive oil and salt and pepper
3. Top with tuna and….enjoy

Tips & Variations

You can use whatever fresh herb you like – parsley, oregano or even mint would work.

This sounded interesting and something unlike i have had before...all other tuna salads I've had all had mayo in them. The family really enjoyed this one! Infact I had made extra for a few meals, but it went FAST! I just wanted to say THANKS!
