Presto Pasta Night Roundup #49

Here it is...another Friday Presto Pasta Night Roundup (#49) and I must say that this week I was worried. By Wednesday I only had three or four entries ...all great, but still...Then this morning there they were...lots of very tasty treats for us. Most of them hearty for the winter season and a couple that we can bookmark for summer (or our friends Down Under can eat now and bookmark the rest for winter down there while we're enjoying the heat - will that ever happen?).

Psychgrad of Equal Opportunity Kitchen was so keen..she sent this one in before the ink was dry (metaphorically speaking) on last's week's roundup. And a great Spaghetti & Meatballs dish it is!

Bellini Valli of More than Burnt Toast shares this awesome Ooh-la-la-la-sagna....and it looks very ooh la-la of course.

Michelle at Cooking the Books has a perfect dish for winter...Chickpea Noodle Soup. It's a vegan treat that even I'm up for!

Katie at Thyme for Cooking always has great stories to share, in addition to delicious dishes like this one - Pasta with Sausages & Red Beans in Mustard Cream Sauce. Check it out.

Michelle the Greedy Gourmet brought a really great looking dish of Pasta with Pancetta, Leeks & Mushrooms. This year I've become addicted to leeks, so I'm a very happy camper.

Kevin, Closet Cooking is back with a glorious and versatile dish of Cashew Butter Chicken that works well with pasta, or rice for that matter.

Gung Hei Fat Choi! KitsChow over at Kits Chow shares her truly abundant Chinese New Year Feast and lucky us we get some E-Fu Braised Noodles among all those other goodies.

Terry at Got No Milk always has great recipes and this one might even fool some people around here...Turkey Bacon Ravioli. Shhhhh, don't tell my Honey!

Georgia of Oh Kitchen What Won't You Do? shares a very tasty looking dish of Multigrain Pasta with Sweet Potatoes & Leeks with Sage.

Mike at Mel's Diner brings a second version of that all time favorite....Spaghetti & Meatballs and they look awesome. Check out his step-by-step photos.

Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy was stuck at home (sick kiddies are no fun), but she shares a very tasty looking Pasta with Turkey Sauce. Hope Liam gets better soon.

Poor Sher of What Did You Eat? is suffering from sciatica. It seems that she's found the cure though...chilis...in a back patch and in this glorious looking Prawn & Coconut Laska with Vermicelli. We all hope you feel better soon!

Anna at Morsels & Musings lives in Australia so it's summer there and she shares a fantastic Korean dish of Dang Myun Noodle Salad. The noodles are made from sweet potatoes. Now when will it be warm enough here in the north to actually make it!!!!

Haalo of Cook Almost Anything is finally back here for a visit and shares this perfectly awesome Parsley Linguine with Prawns. I'm drooling!

And my dish...Shrimp & Red Pepper Pesto Pasta (don't you just love how it rolls off the tongue)

Don't forget to join in the fun for next week and please visit the Presto Pasta Gang on Facebook.

As always...a very big thank you to all of you for playing along and visiting every week!!! Every dish is superb!

No worries, better late than never I always say. And I do love those adorable babies you use to let everyone know the roundup is ready. Thanks

Thanks for another great roundup Ruth! There aren't enough days in the week to make all these fab meals :)

It all looks so grand Ruth.

Thanks for the roundup and some great ideas.

I have been in a food rut lately.

I think my favorite this week is your dish! The shrimp and red pepper pesto combination sounds sooo good Ruth!

Georgia, true enough. I guess we'll have to start serving pasta for lunch AND dinner.

Sue, this is the perfect place to come for inspiration.

Hillary, thanks!

Yummy - I didn't manage to make any pasta this week - and now I'm craving it! I actually woke up this morning wanting mac and cheese for breakfast ;)

Great round up Ruth - I'll try to get back in next week!

PS. "Shrimp and Red Pepper Pesto Pasta for Presto Pasta Night" - great tongue-twister!

Mike, thanks and I can't wait to see what's in store.

Kittie, I look forward to your next pasta delight...and mac 'n cheese for breakfast...why not!

As for the tongue twister...just don't try it with a mouthful.

I am glad those entries came in at the last hour! They were worth the wait!

I bought the most amazing rainbow pasta with a view to posting about it, but alas it was a very busy week and I never got around to it! I will try harder next week!

Lovely recipes - but I have to admit I'm starting to get hungry for those pasta salads I was so tired of 6 months ago...
There's hope - my daffodils are blooming!

I love reading these roundups and am determined to join in in the next one! We eat pasta about once a week, so I really have no excuse except that I usually forget to take a photo. Thanks for all these wonderful ideas.

Bellini Valli, and the imagination level is wonderfully high!

Holler, I'm looking forward to the rainbow...

Katiez, isn't it wonderful that we get different seasons so we always have something to look forward to. Great about the daffodils...not expecting any around here anytime soon.

Ricki, I know how hard it is to get that shot...although my family is now trained ;-)
