A Fun Farm Visit

Monday was a teachers' PD at my grandsons' school and since it was a beautiful day, my daughter invited me to join them on a farm outing.  Another gorgeous drive to "The Valley". A visit to not JUST a farm, but a farm with tons of benefits.  Welcome to our trip to Noggins Corner Farm. That's Boaz beside Winnie the Pooh Pumpkin and his Honey Pot
The star attraction for the boys was the corn maze... which didn't really photograph well, but they have a great view on their site (above) but before we even got that far, we had to check out the cool farm play area.
Mountain of tires
tire serpent (at least that's what I call it)...Boaz (standing).  that's the maze behind them.
And a spot to relax after jumping over bales of hay,  crossing the spider web and going through the rope maze.
Once we managed the maze, it was time for some serious work... pumpkin picking followed by apple picking..
Dov.  And, naturally Gramma had to do a little shopping in the Noggins farm store - fresh corn on the cob and some Boates Balsamic style Apple Cider Vinegar.
Joanna bought some goodies too, including a stalk of Brussels sprouts for her husband. Last stop before heading home was Elderkin's farm for some soft ice cream (and a freshly baked pumpkin pie for me!)

See why I love Autumn in Nova Scotia!!!
