Presto Pasta Night #276

This week is another short week for Presto Pasta Nights.  Not too many entries, but each one incredibly delicious and worth their weight in gold.... Thanks all for your entries.
Helen of Fuss Free Flavours put together a lovely Simple Tomato Pasta with bottled Cosi Come tomato sauce.  Hopefully we'll get some here in Canada soon.
Stash of Simple Kitchen Season made a fantastic comfort dish of Penne with Broccoli "Pesto".  Perhaps my mom's overcooked broccoli could have been spared all those years ago.
Shaheen of Allotment2Kitchen shares the prettiest pink Balsamic Beetroot Dyed Pasta that has me drooling.
Sarah of What Smells So Good?  finally returns to PPN with my idea of a perfect hot summer night supper... Italian Salami Pasta Salad.
Johanna, The Green Gourmet Giraffe did a lovely job of making a simple Jamie Oliver dish even easier... Cauliflower Cheese Macaroni. It's the perfect cure for the sniffles.
Elizabeth of The Law Students Cookbook shares this Roasted Vegetable Orzo dish.
Just in... and a must to include...Joanne, who always Eats Well With Others, had a harrowing experience while on vacation.  I'll let her tell the tale and share the Tempeh Lo Mein with lots of delicious veggies.
I, sad to say, was too busy avoiding the heat - no water boiling for pasta - .  My daughter, however did whip up a lovely Thai salad with vermicelli noodles that just needed a soak in some water boiled in a kettle.  After a lovely afternoon spent in the lake and soaking up the sun on her dock, I was too lazy to even take a photo.  I'll try to do better next week.

And next week, the lovely Simona of Briciole will be back hosting for the SEVENTH time!!!   Please send your entries to simosite (at) mac (dot)com and cc  ruth (at) 4everykitchen (dot) com by Thursday, Aug 16

If you'd like to host a PPN Roundup. Just drop me a line to pick a date. Aug August 24 and beyond are available.  It's never to early to sign up!

No pasta in the kitchen this week since it is too hot to turn on the even, but I can feel fall just around the corner.
