Presto Pasta Night #162

It's that magic time again, pasta, pasta, everywhere and it all looks wonderful, so, without further ado - except a giant thank you to all...here they are...

Lisa of Lisa's Kitchen was first in. She hasn't been around for a while and we've missed her and her awesome dishes like this Mushroom Marinara Sauce over Quinoa Pasta. Apparently the sauce is so delicious, you could just eat it with a spoon and forget the pasta...but we wouldn't do that, would we?
Nancy of Gaga In The Kitchen, and you will be too when you try her Shrimp, Bacon & Onion Pasta. Sometimes there's NO time to whip up a sauce from scratch. I love what she did with a bottled pasta sauce.
On the other hand, Claudia of Honey From Rock made some Lemon Feta Ravioli from scratch - with a great photo tutorial, I might add. I can't wait to give it a try.
Tigerfish of Teczcape always makes something beautiful and wonderful to share with us and this week is no exception. Her Noodles with Cabbage, Mushrooms and Roasted Seaweed has me drooling.
Kait of Pots & Plots is a girl I can relate to. More often than not, my pasta creations are made, standing in front of the fridge. Thanks for sharing this tasty Clean Out The Fridge Pasta.
Joanne, who Eats Well With Others and is a great writer, besides being a med student, always shares great posts. This week she compares her Vegetarian Lasagna with Broccoli Rabe with our immune system...You have to read the whole post.
Chaya over at her Sweet & Savory site made a very delicious dish of Thai Peanut Noodles. And next week she'll be hosting Presto Pasta Night from Comfy Cook. Don't forget to send her something.
Cool Lassie of Pan Gravy Kadai Curry made a very unique and tasty dish that will be a huge hit at our house - Pasta Pizza!
Kirsten of From Kirsten's Kitchen to Yours has finally found her favorite Spring harbingers - morels and ramps. Her Rotini with Morels & Ramps in a Cream Sauce sounds awesome. Too bad Spring in Nova Scotia hasn't really made it's way to market stalls yet..except for fiddleheads, but I digress. The rotini looks amazing.
Kit of Kit's Chow did something wonderful with my favorite foods. I love braised short ribs and her braising sauce has me drooling. Put that together with noodles for her Braised Beef Noodle Soup and that sounds like Heaven to me.
Sometimes we find our favorite dishes where we'd least expect them. Jean of Lemons & Anchovies found her perfect pesto in Portugal - not Italy. I love the look of this Bucantini with Pistachio & Pine Nut Pesto.
Cynthia doesn't have to be a Kitchen Slave with this Crockpot Pho Bo and neither will you. It looks delicious.

This one, from Annarasa Essence of Food came in just after I posted, but I thought I'd add it anyway since it looks so tasty... Warm Pasta Salad with Lima Beans, Bok Choy & Walnuts looks too wonderful to put off for another week.
And last, but not least...my own Linguine with Tomato Clam Sauce. I had to puree the tomatoes before adding clams to hide them from my Honey - not a big tomato fan. That said he loved the dish.

Thanks again, everyone for all your tasty treats.

Next week Chaya, that Comfy Cook is back, hosting for the third time! She always does a great job. Hope to see you there.
My Stuffed Pasta Shells are already in the oven! Please send lots of pastas her way. Just send an email to chayathecomfycook (at)yahoo (dot) com and cc me ruth (at) 4everykitchen (dot) com .

If you're interested in hosting a PPN later this summer, drop me a line. It's lots of fun and a great way to meet wonderful bloggers.

Ruth, I must confess. Looking at all these fantastic creations is frustrating. I want to make almost every one of them and we all know that is impossible. After all, another bunch, is on its way.

One day I goof off (Monday) and the whole week just disappeared. I was late with everything and remembered that I forgot to do my pasta post on Friday.... Sorry - but wonderful round-up (even without me - grin)
