Presto Pasta Night Roundup #22
Presto Pasta Nights is 22 weeks old and everyone is still impressing me with wonderful dishes. I'm off to attend the first day of my first time at a BlogHer Conference so there's no time for chit chat.....besides, the great recipes are the stars of the show anyway.
Alisha of Cook, Craft, Enjoy is a terrific PPNer and this week, even though she's in the throws of moving she shares this great looking Two Pasta Salad. Good luck with the move! I can't wait to see what the new kitchen produces.
Sunita of Sunita's World is back too. She shares a great looking Penne with Poached Salmon and Broccoli. Like Sunita, salmon is one of my favorite fishes. It's so versatile and so delicious.
Cara of Cara's Craving is back with a gorgeous looking, scrumptious sounding Pumpkin Gnocchi with a Sage Cream Sauce and Toasted Pecans. All I can say is...wow!!
Sathya of The Baker & The Curry Maker is back, I'm pleased to say with this very summery, very presto Tomato & Basil Pasta. There is nothing tastier than fresh off the vine tomatoes and fragrant basil - one of my favorite combos.
Abby of Eat the Right Stuff is another fantastic PPNer. This time she shares a very comforting and spring-invoking dish of Lemony Parma Ham and Asparagus. I think I gained 5 pounds just reading it!
Sara of I Like to Cook is back with a delightful Orzo &Ham Salad she pulled out of the fridge. I love it when it all comes together from things on hand.
Deborah of Taste and Tell joins us for the first time with a great story and a delicious version of a Rachel Ray recipe - Renaissance Tuna Casserole. No photo, so you'll have to just imagine how good an old stand by revisited can be.
Kevin, of Closet Cooking ,said it best "There are so many things you can do with pasta. It never gets boring" and this time he shares a gorgeous Zucchini Carbonara to prove it.
Poonam of Cooking Adventures joins PPN for the first (of many I hope) time. She takes an already delightful Tomato basil dish and turns it into something magical with merlot artichoke spread - Tomato Basil & Merlot Artichoke Linguine.
Ulrike of Kuchenlatein and her sons are back this week (I missed not having them around last week) with Homemade Pasta and Extra-Easy Tomato Sauce. I have always loved cooking with my daughters. There's no better bonding experience than cooking with kids.
Katie of Thyme for Cooking is back with a million zucchini and shares a fantastic looking Zucchini Pasta Salad with Peanut Ginger Dressing. I'm drooling.
Megan of Chez Megane shares this awesome looking dish of Spicy Tomato Cream Pasta with Sausages and Peas. I want some right now.
Ashley of Eat Me, Delicious joins us for the first time with this gorgeous looking Roasted Vegetable Pasticcio. I can't wait to give it a try.
Sher at What Did You Eat is a fantastic contributor to Presto Pasta Nights and this time she shares a Fusilli with Low Fat Creamy Pesto. I don't know about you, but I could use a little help in cutting calories. She has some lovely photos of the fusilli but I was taken by this pesto by itself in such a cute bowl.
Katerina of Daily Unadventures in Cooking is back with a glorious Salmon Artichoke & Sundried Tomato Pasta. Heaven on a plate- that's all I have to say.
Myriam of Once Upon a Tart always has something wonderful to share and this time it's Orecchiette with Chanterelle Mushrooms & Goat Cheese. I can taste the rich creaminess already.
Dayna, my favorite Vegan Visitor returns with this stunning dish of Spinach & Smoked Tofu Pasta Salad. It makes a tofu convert out of me!
Haalo of Cook (Almost) Anything is back. I love her frequent contributions and this time, even though (actually, because) she's not feeling well, she's created a comforting simple Vermicelli Fritatta to chase away the sniffles. Feel better soon!
Jeff at Veggie Delights is a very happy guy as you can tell from his Baked Tri-Color Pasta Neapolitan. Am I the only one that sees Mr Happy Face in the pasta? His girl friend is in town and he'll be busy so I'm glad he took the time to share this with us.
Julie, the Persnickety Palate returns to PPN to share a glorious Shrimp Spring Roll dish. Look at those plump and juicy shrimp poking out of the rice wrapper.
Marye of Apron Strings & Simmering Things is also back this week with a great spin on Farfalle with a Smoky Tomato Sauce. She uses fire roasted tomatoes and dried chipotle chilies.
And now for me... well between playing tour guide for friends visiting Halifax from Toronto and attending the BlogHer Conference in Chicago (more about that later), there was no time for cooking. Of course there is always time for eating great pasta and this one (the photo does not do it justice) is Lobster Ravioli in a White Wine & Garlic Cream Sauce....so good I was moaning at the table!
I'm posting a little early today so I can head over to the Blogher Conference, but I will be checking my email periodically and adding more delicious pastas as they come in.
Ferdzy of Seasonal Ontario Food joins us for the first time with an amazing dish of Spaghetti with Pea and Garlic Scape Pesto & Mint. Such a wonderful dish and I apologize to all of you for getting it up so late. Blame it on the BlogHer'07 Conference! (More about that tomorrow).
So anyone out there with a pasta dish, I will continue to add submissions until Saturday . After that, I will add them to next week's PPN Event. So don't forget to join in with the rest of us Presto Pasta Nighters. It's easy and fun. Remember that ALL noodles dishes count as pasta and "presto" (ready) or "lento" (slow) are perfect. Find out how right here. In the meantime... Happy Pasta Eating!!!

Thanks for all your hard work in compiling all these dishes. Enjoy the BlogHer conference! I was considering going but had other commitments this weekend.
