A Drowned fineCooking Saved by Pinterest

A not so funny thing happened on my way to a relaxing soak in the tub today.  But let me back up a bit.  Yesterday my latest issue of fine Cooking arrived and after a very cursory look, my intention was to thoroughly savor every article while enjoying a steamy bubble bath.  I placed the copy at the edge of the tub already filling with bubbles while I went for the towel.   And what did I discover on my return?
somehow my magazine took a swim!!!  It was ruined!  My Honey just rminded me that it could have been worse.  I could have dropped my new iPad mini in the tub!   Thank goodness for My Pinterest and www.fineCooking.com   I got to bookmark all the recipes I'd earmarked in the hard copy.

One day soon when my wrist is back to its old self  I'll share the variations I made to this Pasta with Olives, Roasted Peppers, Tuna   First time for dinner (top of page photo) and then
a great frittata for breakfast.

Stay tuned for more of the tasty dishes my Honey and I prepared together .

  3. How annoying. Taking of ipads taking a dip, Cooper just spilled water over ours and Graham is not happy. It is fine, but he does love to rant when he can. honestly!

  4. I hate it when that happens! Isn't it wonderful that so many magazines are posting their recipes online now?

    This dish looks fabulous, Ruth.

I hope your arm is healing well and that you won't be setting off airport alarms with the hardware.

    Happy New Year!

  5. Thank goodness for on line magazines and FineCooking really does share a lot of the mag recipes & articles even when the current issue is on the stands. Arm is healing nicely. And no alarms so far.
