
My daughter Sharron spent a year and a half in Chile teaching English and she's been back home for almost as long. Often, we've talked about the delicious empanadas she ate while away and promised a recipe.

Finally, since a mutual friend had a Chilean houseguest who promised to make some, we have a recipe worth sharing, although there are a few caveats (see the recipe for our excuses).
